Carnet de Santé

Hello,

Today, James and I had our last antenatal course with our lovely friend and midwife before the imminent birth... It was all very interesting, obviously, but i won't bore you with the details.
Anyway, our midwife mentioned that after the birth of the baby, we will be given a little red book which will contain all the relevant information about his health. The point is to keep track of his progress blablabla...
The funny thing is, it reminded me that when i was born 29 years ago, in France, my mum was given the same kind of book. We called it "carnet de santé"
And guess what???? i still have it!!!

So when i came home, i looked on my (very organised) bookcase and pulled my little health book out!
I looked throughout the first few pages and here it was... all the information about my birth! The date and time, weight, height, the name of the doctor who delivered me and everything... So cute right!

So i'm sure it won't be that interesting to any of you really... But i thought i would still share it... Cause let's be honest, the all point of Facebook, blogs and other social media stuff is too share silly details of your personal life to entertain the boring little life of others! No offence!
My life is very boring too lol...

Saluuut,

Aujourd'hui, James et moi avons eu notre dernier cours prénatal avec notre sage-femme avant la naissance de bibou... C'était très intéressant, évidemment, mais je ne vais pas vous ennuyer avec les détails.
Quoi qu'il en soit, notre sage-femme nous a informer du fait qu'après la naissance du bébé, on nous donnera un petit livre rouge ou les docteurs écriront toutes les informations pertinentes l'état de santé du  bébé blablabla ... 
Ca m'a rappelé que quand je suis né, il ya 29 ans, en France, on a donné le même genre de livre a ma mère communément appeler le "carnet de santé"
Et devinez quoi ???? Je l'ai toujours !!!

Donc, je suis rentrée chez moi, et j'ai regardé dans ma bibliothèque (très organisée évidement) et j'y ai trouvé mon petit carnet de santé! 
Toutes les informations de ma naissance sont décrites dans les premières page jaunies par les années! la date, l'heure, le poids, la hauteur, le nom du médecin qui m'a accouche et tout  et tout... Trop choupidou!

Donc voila, pas très intéressant je l'avoue ... Mais je pourquoi pas en parler quand même?
Soyons honnêtes, Facebook, les blogs et autres trucs comme ça, n'ont qu'une seule raison d'être c'est de partager des détails stupides de votre vie personnelle pour divertir la petite vie ennuyeuse des autres!
Et vice vers ça bien sur.
